Aaron Hernandez was a New England Patriots Pro Bowl tight-end. In 2013, he was convicted of Odin Llyod’s murder and sentenced to life without parole. He was also tried for a separate double homicide but was acquitted. He later committed suicide inside his cell and was posthumously diagnosed with CTE.
