Travis Van Winkle, an American actor who was born on November 4, 1982, is best known for his work in the Netflix original series You and the 2006 film Accepted. He has appeared in the films Transformers, Friday the 13th, and The Last Ship as Trent Sutton-DeMarco (2014–2018).
Van, the middle child and third child of Sally and Charles Van Winkle, was born in Victorville, California. At age two, he and his family relocated to Oscoda, Michigan. He moved back with his family to Peachtree City, Georgia, when he was eight years old.
Van attended McIntosh High School and the University of West Georgia there, albeit he didn’t finish his studies there. When he was 20 years old, he moved to Hollywood to pursue an acting career.
In the 2014 comedy Intervention, Van Winkle portrayed the title character. Also, he performed as a guest actor in a Scorpion episode. In the 2015 PixL original film Bound & Babysitting, he co-starred with Tammin Sursok.
